2025 Board of Directors Election

The nominating committee of the West Volusia Association of REALTORS is seeking nominations for the positions of President-Elect, Treasurer, and three (3) Directors positions that will become available on January 1st, 2025. Per the bylaws of this association, the qualifications for those positions are as follows:

2025 President Elect/2026 President: Nominees for President-Elect (2026 President) shall be REALTOR® members in good standing of this Association for at least three (3) consecutive years and must have served at least one (1) year on the Board of Directors within the past five (5) years and served on or chaired at least two (2) committees, MLS committees, state or national committees or any other groups established and/or appointed by the President or Board of Directors within the past five years.

2025 Treasurer: Nominees for Treasurer shall be REALTOR® members in good standing of this Association for at least two (2) consecutive years, have served at least one (1) year on the Board of Directors within the past five (5) years and served on or chaired at least one (1) committee, state or national committee or any other group established and/or appointed by the President or Board of Directors within the past five years. Alternatively, nominees may also be REALTOR® members in good standing who have served at least two (2) consecutive years on the Finance Committee of this Association within the past five (5) years.

2025/2026 Directors (3 Available): Nominees for elected directors shall be REALTOR® members in good standing of this Association for at least two (2) consecutive years and have served on or chaired at least one (1) committee, MLS committee, state or national committee or any other group established and/or appointed by the President or the Board of Directors within the past five years.

All candidates who wish to serve as an officer or director must also affirm they agree to the terms and conditions of service, and agree to the information provided in the consent to serve documents. Those documents are linked below in red. Affirmation of those terms/rules/directions is required to submit this application and any and all applications submitted will be considered an affirmative agreement with the consent to serve as well as the code of conduct for WVAR Officers/Directors.

ALL nominations are due no later than the 30th of July by 5PM EST.
